CSAE Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2025

At 2gather, we are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and responsible platform for all users. Protecting children from sexual exploitation and abuse is a core part of that commitment. This document outlines our policies and procedures to prevent, report, and respond to CSAE-related incidents on the 2gather app.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

2gather has a strict zero-tolerance policy against:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), including images, videos, text, or links that involve or depict sexual exploitation of children.
  • Grooming behaviours, including attempts to manipulate or deceive minors for sexual purposes.
  • Sexual solicitation, harassment, or exploitation involving children.
  • Any content or conduct that violates child protection laws or our community standards.

Violations will result in:

  • Immediate content removal
  • Permanent suspension of accounts
  • Reporting to law enforcement or national authorities, as applicable

2. In-App Reporting Mechanism

We empower our users to help keep the platform safe through accessible, in-app reporting tools. Users can report:

  • Suspicious user profiles
  • Inappropriate or harmful messages
  • Media or links that violate our child safety policies

How to Report:

  • Tap the "Report" option available on user profiles, posts, or messages
  • Or email us directly at support@2gather.in

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team as a high priority.

3. Response Procedures

When CSAE-related content or behavior is reported or detected:

  • Our team will immediately investigate and take necessary action within 24 hours
  • Verified content will be removed, and offending accounts banned permanently
  • If legally required, the case will be reported to:
  • Local law enforcement
  • INHOPE (International Association of Internet Hotlines)
  • NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) or relevant jurisdictional authorities

We also retain necessary data to assist law enforcement investigations while complying with privacy laws.

4. Compliance and Training

  • 2gather complies with child protection laws in all countries where we operate
  • Our moderation team receives specialized training in identifying and handling CSAE cases
  • We conduct internal reviews of reported incidents and improve detection tools regularly

5. Designated CSAE Compliance Officer

We have appointed a dedicated officer to manage CSAE-related practices and coordinate with regulators or platform partners.
